Water filter, inlet valve and solenoid replacement, the single most common cause of poor ice quality and low output on hard-water supplies. In Midrand this is corporate & commercial work on water supply side systems, attended within about 70 minutes of dispatch. We work across every major brand installed in Midrand, and diagnostics start from the plated design data rather than a guess.Every visit starts with a full diagnostic and a written quote before any part is fitted.Mixed residential and industrial access. Ice Machine Repairs bookings in Midrand are logged against Block 15 so we can allow for power availability on site.

Common questions

Do you charge a callout fee?

A standard callout and diagnostic fee applies and is quoted upfront. It is credited against the repair when you accept the quote.

My ice machine runs but makes no ice, is it worth repairing?

Usually yes. The four common causes (water inlet valve, water pump, scaled evaporator and a stalled harvest cycle) are all repairable at a fraction of replacement cost. We quote in writing after the diagnostic and tell you honestly when a machine is past economic repair.

Why is my ice cloudy or melting too fast?

Cloudy, soft ice means the freeze cycle is being cut short or the water is carrying too many dissolved solids. We test hardness and TDS on site, fit the right filtration, descale the plate and re-time the cycle so cubes freeze clear and hard.

Is scale really a problem for ice machines here?

Yes, it is the single biggest cause of lost output on this water supply. Scale insulates the evaporator, so the machine runs longer for less ice and eventually pits the plate. Regular descaling is far cheaper than an evaporator replacement.
